Municipal Theater of Piraeus - A history of 130 years
It was on June 24, 1884, when the Municipal Theater of Piraeus was founded. Twelve years later, the center of the city was adorned with a magnificent building that was to prove that, due to its monumental appearance, it would be characterized as the leading surviving Greek theater building of the 19th century.
A home for the performing arts and a cultural landmark in the heart of Piraeus.
