“Just For The Record” is a short animated movie made for both young and adult audiences. Its goal is to remind busy man of 21 century, burnt down by worries and unnecessary information, to make a pause and question again he’s/hers relationship with oneself and others, as the obligation we all have in the times of rising nationalism and militarism in Europe today. Dictaphone Robot REC is a metaphor for technology/consumer-oriented human being distanced from its own human essence with lost ability to really communicate with others as with oneself. Our memories are corrupted with thoughts of anger. This Story is supposed to present the viewer with hope that change is possible. Idea is to spark adults to grow and give suggestions to children to choose their memories carefully. The simple form makes this movie suitable for an audience from 7 to 107 years of age.
